CERNのチュートリアルでは動かなかったのでICEPP

Lxplusで再度挑戦 †

チュートリアルにはdq2は別のターミナルで動かすと書いてある。pathenaをサブミットするterminalではdq2はセットアップしないこと。

lxplusからgridに１つのrun分を投げたら、ntupleが3個出来たので以下のやり方でまとめてみた。rootScript.CのTFileにかえて以下の分をいれる。

TChain chain("MYTREE");
chain.Add("xxx");
chain.Add("yyy");

ファイルをまとめるコマンドも有る。

hadd all.root x.root y.root z.root

icepp作業履歴 †

作業の目的はisemのチェック。AMIでデータセットを確認する。タグも確認しておなじathenaで解析する。

multiMuon sampleが採り難い †

castorのグリッド側にあるので、CERNファイアーウォール内のPCからdq2_getでコピーした。srmcpだとエラーになるので、lcp-cpを使用する。dq2_getがnoglob dq2_getだと、自動的にcasterに行くのでsetup.sh.anyにしてみた。castorが今は不調。そうすると'set -f; _dq2_get_helper'となり -rで外を捜してくれる。

SLC4 migration †

Linux lxplus204.cern.ch 2.6.9-42.0.8.EL.cernsmp #1 SMP Fri Feb 2 11:50:49 CET 2007 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Now SLC4 is standard. lxplus runs on xenon. On SLC4,the default compiler is gcc3.4.2. For local PC setting, to run 12.0.x, one needs to istall gcc3.2.3. Thanks to the CMT, one can confirm this situation on lxplus with the example as follows.

LxplusでPANDAの演習 †

'current' means to use EM64T environment. It"s default.

To use gcc323 binary, you just specify it at first cmt setup.

TAR_UIを使って練習 †

ワークショップに出席するのにまだやってなかったのは大問題。
